Happy 309!!!

Today is a very special day for me and my lovely wife, Mas.

Wanna know why??

Today is Mas birthday!

Mas is pregnant! Yipeeeee.....

We have been trying for another baby since June 2008. Actually we were hoping that it will happen right after we come back from the Holy Land, Mekkah. Guess our hard work over there was not meant to be ;)

Nevertheless, we are still very happy, thankful and excited that Mas is pregnant now.

Allow me to share how Mas 'te'll' me the good news this morning:

Mas did a self-test this morning just before our sahur (morning breakfast before fasting commence)... at about 5am to be precised. She then placed the test kit on our kitchen table top and prepared our breakfast.

I woke up at 5.15am. Sat down at the dining table and had my breakfast. She was smiling from ear to ear all the while. I did not suspect anything (was still in my sleep mode) and continued eating and chatting with her.

We finished our food and she went to wash the dishes. I was holding a basket (filled with bottle, baby milk and water) when I noticed the test kit. I zoomed in and noticed the "+" sign on the result window. Did a super-quick double confirmation and realised that Mas was pregnant.

I jumped with joy and excitement.... yes, I physically jumped off the floor after putting down the basket (pheww)!

Ran to my lovable wife and gave her a big bear hug and kiss! The feeling in me while hugging her was out of this world! Thank you Allah!

Soon our sweet daughter, Nabiha, woke up from her sleep and she was the first person to be told of this wonderful news."Nabiha, there's a baby inside Mama stomach", that's how Itold her. Hehehe... Nabiha's turning two next month :)

Me and Mas did our morning prayer together and thank Allah for all the good things that He has given us.

We sent Nabiha to the babysitter and head off to work.

What a great day to start... I'll be taking Mas to dinner tonight to celebrate her birthday. Still contemplating when to give her the birthday present.

I'm so happy... I'm so happy... yabadabadoooo!

Gotta go now, this blog is specifically dedicated to our upcoming baby. Keep a look out for more updates. Adios! :)
